8. Approve cancelling the existing purchase order with Safe Environment Engineering, and issuing a new purchase order with SKC-West, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $30,000 (Municipal Utilities and Engineering Director Harris)

Approve the request to close East San Bernardino Avenue for the Revel Big Bear Marathon event hosted by the Brooksee Foundation on November 11th and November 12th, 2022; authorize the request for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on East San Bernardino Avenue at Dearborn Street during the Revel Big Bear Marathon to be held on November 12, 2022, and determine that the approval of the request is exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the state’s guidelines implementing the California Environmental Quality Act (Assistant City Manager Boatman)
